Martin Arias is finishing his PhD studies in Economic Geography / Planning Studies at the University College London (UCL). He has a bachelor degree in Business Management and a Master degree in Regional Science from the Universidad Catolica del Norte, Antofagasta. Martín is vice-president of the UCL Chilean Society. His academic publications focus on multinational mining corporations, small and medium enterprises, regional development, clusters, and enclaves.
In Encuentros 2015, Martin is sub-director for the session on regional productivity.
