The first round of submissions for Encuentros 2015 is complete!

  • If you sent you abstract by May 8th: You will be notified by May 15th.
  • If you want to present you work at Encuentros2015, but did not make the May 8th deadline: You can send your proposal until June 29th. The earlier you do so, the earlier you will be notified (within one week).

What if you already submitted your abstract on time for the earlier deadline?

How is the poster selection process?
ANSWER: Yes there is a broad selection. It is specially because we want to know who is presenting and what it is about so we can receive the presenters and prepare the poster conference room.

My work does not refer to sustainability. Can I still present a poster?
ANSWER: Yes. The poster session is open to a wide diversity of topics. It will be a space for researchers and professionals to share their work and discuss it with experts from different fields.

When is the poster session?
ANSWER: The poster sessions will start on wednesday during the coffee break and will be put up until friday.

Do I need to be Chilean to present my work?
ANSWER: No. Everyone is welcome to present his/her work at Encuentros ChileGlobal.

In which language will the presentations be?
ANSWER: English is the conference’s official language. Thus, posters—like all other presentations—should be in English.

Can I present a poster and a PechaKucha?
ANSWER: Yes. Just mention in your proposal that you would like to make both kinds of presentations.
