Luis Eduardo González is a researcher in Universidad de Chile’s Reconstruction Observatory. His academic publications focus on urban reconstruction processes in post-natural disaster contexts and on urban poverty from a Residential Habitat point of view.
Luis has a professional degree in architecture (Universidad de Valparaíso, 2008) and a Master degree in Residential Habitat (Universidad de Chile, 2013). Since he left Chile in early 2014, he has lived in Ireland and in Germany.
Luis is currently working on two photographic projects in Germany: Bauhaus buildings and Thuringia Forest.
In Encuentros 2015, Luis is sub-director for the session on sustainable development in emergency contexts.
